INSZoom was founded in 1999 by Umesh Vaidyamath as the first cloud-based immigration software in the industry, predating the mainstream adoption of SaaS. After two decades as an independent company, it was acquired by legal technology firm Mitratech in November 2020. The platform serves over 1,000 customers across 195+ countries and has processed more than one million immigration cases.
The platform includes a library of 2,000+ immigration forms and questionnaires updated within 24–48 hours of government releases, covering U.S. and global immigration categories. It supports attorney workflows, corporate HR portals, and beneficiary-facing tools, with features including document storage, e-filing capabilities, reporting dashboards, and client communication portals.
INSZoom introduced an automation bot using machine learning and robotic process automation (RPA) to handle repetitive case management tasks, reducing manual data entry across high-volume immigration programs. Mitratech positions it alongside its other legal operations and compliance products for enterprise buyers.
As part of the Mitratech ecosystem, INSZoom is designed to fit into larger enterprise legal operations stacks, making it a stronger fit for corporate immigration teams and large law firms that need integration with broader compliance, HR, and matter management systems.
